Field Service Technician

Summary:

As a Field Service Technicain you will provide professional service and support to Cavotec customers by performing field service maintenance, repairs, troubleshooting, installation, and commissioning.

The Role:

• Perform scheduled maintenance tasks on Cavotec equipment at customer facilities.
• Determine causes of operating errors and provide maintenance troubleshooting and problem solving in a timely and efficient manner, empowering customer satisfaction.
• Build customer relationships in a professional manner through solution-oriented communications and service, providing both on-site and telephone support.
• Coordinate with engineering, project management, spare parts and management groups to resolve escalated problems.
• Provide written service & expense reports to the Service Manager on all activities carried out on site and complete all required documentation in a timely manner.
• Report Spent work hours and costs in a timely manner for invoicing purposes.
• Comply with all safety policies, practices and procedures at all times. Develop and maintain safe habits and practices with regard to safety requirements on site and report any breaches or concerns on health and safety matters to the Service Manager.
• Assist the Inside Sales team with recommended spare parts and service related work opportunities for existing and new customers,
• Contribute hitting company's service sales targets

Requirements:

• Vocational, Trade or Journeyman's Certificate or technical college required, Engineering degree or equivalent background can be considered.
• Proven hands-on maintenance experience on electro-mechanical equipment
• Troubleshooting experience
• Operative planning
• Drawing understanding
• Self-driven, structured
• Team player
• Effective communication
• Fluent in a Scandinavian language and English
