Panzerbelt

Proven cable protection for ports and terminals

Panzerbelt is our system for efficiently and cost effectively protecting power cables from damage and wear caused by cross-traffic in ports and terminals.

Durable and low-maintenance

Panzerbelt withstands heavy cross-traffic without deformation, operates smoothly and quietly, and keeps cable channels cleaner with minimal maintenance.

Built for port operations

Available in standard and reinforced versions, Panzerbelt is tailored for waterside or landside locations, handling everything from occasional traffic to continuous heavy-duty crossings.

Safe and reliable

The system eliminates above-ground cables and trays, reducing trip hazards, improving dock surfaces, and protecting cables from damage, debris, spillages, sunlight, and accidental contact.

Proven performance

With more than 550 installations worldwide and over 280 km of belt in operation, Panzerbelt is a trusted solution that has replaced outdated steel trench covers across the industry.

Panzerbelt

Safeguard power cables from damage

Panzerbelt is a proven cable protection system designed to safeguard power cables from mechanical damage, debris, and spillage in ports, container terminals, shipyards, and heavy industry sites.

The system features a continuous semi-flexible belt made of rubber with inlaid steel reinforcement, which lies over a channel cast in the quay. One edge of the belt is fixed to the quay while the other is lifted by a cable guide and belt-lifting device fitted to cranes, combining strength, flexibility, and durability.
