Cavotec’s Megawatt Charging System (MCS) is a turnkey DC charging solution with grid-to-inlet functionality that enables high-power charging of heavy-duty vehicles, machinery, and vessels.
The complete MCS solution consists of the following modules:
- Step-down Transformer
Converts medium-voltage AC to low-voltage AC, if required by the installation. - High-Power Power Electronics Module
Converts low-voltage AC into high-power DC for fast charging. - Cooling System
Manages thermal dissipation from the power electronics to ensure safe and efficient operation. - MCS Manual Dispenser
Includes a liquid-cooled MCS cable and connector for high-current delivery. - MCS Inlet
The mating socket located on the vehicle or vessel, designed to interface with the MCS connector.
