TOC Europe is one of the leading gatherings for the global port, terminal, and container supply chain industries. The event brings together port authorities, terminal operators, technology providers, and industry experts to explore the latest developments in automation, digitalisation, sustainability, and cargo handling efficiency.
At Booth F22, Cavotec will showcase technologies designed to support safer, cleaner, and more efficient port operations, including shore power, crane electrification, automated mooring, and high-power charging solutions for ports and vessels.
There will also be plenty to experience at the booth throughout the event. Visitors can explore 3D models of Cavotec systems, interact with touchscreen presentations, access videos and technical materials, and take part in fun activities with opportunities to win prizes.
In addition, Cavotec will host informal networking drinks with beer, prosecco and snacks at Booth F22 on Tuesday 19 May at 4:00 pm and Wednesday 20 May at 4:00 pm.
New product launch for crane electrification
TOC Europe will also provide visitors with an early look at a brand-new Cavotec solution for crane electrification. Designed to support the evolving needs of ports and terminals, this upcoming launch reflects Cavotec’s continued focus on improving operational efficiency, sustainability, and electrification performance across container handling applications.
Visitors to the booth will have the opportunity to learn more about the new solution and discuss its potential applications directly with Cavotec’s experts.

PowerAlign
PowerAlign is Cavotec’s mobile, rail-guided Cable Management System (CMS) engineered to align the vessel’s shore power connection point with a standardized quay-side interface. PowerAlign provides a compact, efficient, and highly flexible solution for managing high-voltage shore power cables for container vessels. The system combines a fixed quay-edge cable reel with a trolley-mounted junction box that travels along dedicated rails, enabling seamless coverage of up to 150 meters from a single feeding point and extendable further by adding additional units. Key Benefits Mobile vessel alignment: rail-mounted JB trolley enables precise positioning along the quay. Compact, easy-to-install solution requiring minimal quay space and no interference with crane or fender operations. Scalable coverage up to 150 m, expandable with additional PowerAlign modules. Enables vessel generators to be shut down, reducing noise and air emissions during port stays. Remote-controlled operation for safe, efficient alignment with the vessel’s shore connection hatch. Key Features Fully compliant with IEC 80005-1 (HVSC), including Annex A and Annex D requirements. Fixed quay-edge cable reel designed to accommodate 140 m active cable length, with compact footprint and partial overhang for minimal quay obstruction. Rail-guided JB trolley driven by an electric motor and Dyneema rope winch, ensuring smooth, precise movement. Socket box equipped with IEC 80005 Annex D-compliant receptacles with protective covers, visual and audible alarms, and stainless-steel construction. System capacity: 7.5 MVA, 6.6 kV, 50/60 Hz, with 400 V auxiliary supply. Maximum trolley travel speed: 1.8 km/h. PLC-based control architecture with inverter-driven motors for cable reel and trolley motion. Rail system in 3-m modular sections, installed above fenders, designed to prevent cable drop into the water and equipped with integrated anchoring points.
