As Cavotec celebrates its 50th anniversary in 2025, the company participated in Electric & Hybrid Marine Expo Europe in Amsterdam to showcase its latest clean tech innovations for the decarbonisation of ports and the maritime industry.
In this video, filmed just before the show opened, Cavotec’s VP of Product Management, Laurent Dupuis, shares insights into the company’s history, recent installations, and newest solutions designed to support the shift to electric and hybrid marine operations.
Laurent also demonstrates the MCS Manual Dispenser – a handheld charging device capable of delivering up to 4.5MW of power to electric vessels, while remaining smooth and easy to operate. He highlights PowerAlign and Cavotec’s other shore power systems as well, which enable fast, flexible power connection anywhere along the quay, improving efficiency and reducing operational costs.
